What we choose to overlook can still become something worth seeing.

For this project, I worked in collaboration with a curator, Esther Isokariari and artist, Konboye Eugene, whose practice centers on transformation. He works with discarded flip flops, slippers, and shoes collected from the streets, reworking them into portraits, sculptures, and installations. What stands out in his practice is the discipline of working with a single material and continually expanding what it can become, while maintaining a clear zero-waste approach where every part of the footwear is used.
